Fillings

Our Process
Initial Examination and Diagnosis
The dentist starts with an examination of the affected tooth, potentially using X-rays, to assess the extent of decay and determine the need for a filling.
Preparation for Filling
If necessary, local anesthesia is administered to numb the area around the tooth to ensure comfort during the procedure.
Decay Removal
The dentist uses a drill or other instrument to remove the decayed material from the tooth.
Tooth Cleansing
Once all decay has been removed, the cavity is thoroughly cleaned to prepare it for the filling material.
Filling Placement
The dentist chooses a filling material (such as amalgam, composite, gold, or porcelain) and applies it to the cavity. The material is then shaped to fit the tooth and restore its original function and appearance.
Curing and Polishing
If a composite resin is used, it is hardened with a special light. Finally, the filling is polished to ensure a smooth finish and a comfortable bite.
Post-Procedural Care
The dentist provides instructions on how to care for the filled tooth, including any dietary recommendations and oral hygiene practices to follow post-procedure.
Follow-Up
In some cases, a follow-up visit might be scheduled to check the filling and ensure that the tooth is functioning properly.
Extractions
At Renew Dental Studio, we sometimes perform necessary tooth extractions with utmost care and advanced pain-minimizing techniques, followed by offering replacement options like implants, bridges, or dentures to maintain bite integrity and aesthetics, ensuring a stress-free process and optimal long-term oral health.
Implants
Renew Dental Studio offers implant restoration, a process involving titanium post placement into the jawbone and custom-made crowns, bridges, or dentures, meticulously planned and precisely executed to mimic natural teeth in function and appearance, enhancing both the aesthetics of your smile and the functionality of your bite.
